Map Descripton: A few islands with lots of smouldering volcanos, hills and trees. If you like reclaiming, head for the center island. There's probably about 60000+ worth of metal there. Also on each island there are remnant of bases, so pick those up too for a boost. One last thing, watch for meteors.

History of the Planet: Arm had finally gotten something done without the Big Brother surveillence of CORE knowing. A secret base had been established in and around a small group of volcanic islands, where there was plenty of metal, strong tides, and was on the far reaches of the galaxy. Perfect for research. Perfect until CORE came. Since the sector was basically deserted, and CORE wasn't supposed to be very active in the area, Arm had gotten lax with their defenses and scouting patrols. Besides the occassional meteor shower, there wasn't much to worry about in the way of danger. Imagine Arms surprise when they found out that CORE had also established a base in the archipelago. Thanks to their newest invention, the Phantom radar jammer, CORE had landed a commander, and a fairly large fleet for use in destroying Arm on this planet. In haste Arm rapidly threw up a few defenses, including the still-in-testing Vulcan Plasma Cannon. This was definately more resistance than CORE had suspected, and so they formed a counterstrike. A Krogoth. The plan was simple. Establish a beach head on the island where Arm had their Vulcan and Berthas, and land the mighty Krogoth. A detachment of Morty's had started to hold a small strip where the Gimps and Crocks could move through to make room for the transport, but the Vulcan was claiming more kills with each passing shot. Finally it was time for the Krogoth to have its day in the sun. Arm threw everything it had against the beast, but to no avail. The Krogoth destroyed the Berthas, the Vulcan research, the Fusion Reactors, and the Moho Mines. Everything on the island was dead, but not without a large cost to the Krogoth's health. In one last desparate stand before the Krogoth moved to Arm's main base on the planet, the Arm commander ordered an attack on the Krogoth with Pelicans and Tritons. It was an almost futile gesture, but in the Krogoths weakened state, he finally fell. The center island still stands as a reminder of the massive invasion and battle. After that, CORE and Arm had several hovercraft and naval skirmishes, and eventually CORE gave way and evacuated its Commander and several Advanced Construction Kbots. After their leader left, CORE morale and tactics declined, and Arm easily wiped them out. Unfortunatly for Arm though, after the Krogoth came through, the planet was devastated, and only had a fraction of its former metal content. So, abandoning the units left on the planet to the meteors, rather than wasting the time and resources rescuing them, Arm left the once beautiful planet in search of bigger and better things. Now, later in the war, every planet, no matter how ravaged, counts. It is up to you to continue the fight for both sides.

Misc. Notes: This is my first map, so bear with me. E-mail me your comments, I'd be glad to hear them. If you think it sucks, tell me that, but tell me why it sucks as well. That way I'll improve. Also, this map was originally supposed to be on a lava tileset. Due to some weird quirk of the Cavedog map editor, I couldn't place down the really big tiles. If anyone has heard of this, let me know, because I'm not sure if it is my computer/software, or everyones. Thanks a lot if you've read down this far. Finally, and this is really the end of this longwinded readme, if you see a shipwreck in the middle of an island, don't get mad. It was originally an accident, but I decided to keep it since it looked so cool :).
